Nature connection experience to slow down, relax and gently tune into your senses.
During the walk you will be invited to slow down, paying gentle attention to what is here and now and connect to the natural surroundings. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku that literally means taking in the forest atmosphere with your senses. Forest Bathing or Forest Therapy is proven to restore balance and regenerate health.
The Shinrin Yoku walk/Forest bathing, is not a hike, it is a 2 or 3 hour leisure walk in easy trails that only covers a short distance and ends with a tea ceremony, and sometimes with a bonfire.
We have known for centuries how good being in nature can make us feel. The sounds of the forest, the scent of the trees, the sunlight playing through the leaves, the fresh, clean air-these things give us a sense of comfort. They ease our stress and worry, help us to relax and to think more clearly. Being in nature can restore our mood, give us back our energy and vitality, refresh and rejuvenate us. A Shinrin Yoku walk is designed to restore your connection with nature, yourself and others.
This wander fits everybody, also those who have health challenges. You can book forest bathing for groups, firms and for you. You can also book a forest bathing combined with team building, island jumping in the Oslo Fjord or other costum made events.
